Whiskr v1.0.0
The first local release: a developer workspace for links, tab sessions and the references around your projects.
Your local workspace
- Workspaces, private/public draft spaces and collections.
- Four layouts, colour and tag filters, sorting, search and a collapsed sidebar.
- Save tabs or sessions, preserve pinned tabs, restore sessions and move links with drag and drop.
- Next priority lists, local aliases, Markdown/code notes and batch link actions.
- 43 palettes with light, dark and system modes; the default Whiskr palette is shown on this site.
A developer desk
- Social profile links and project launchers.
- Saved searches with domain, tag and starred filters.
- Repository pulse for public PRs, assigned issues and default-branch CI, refreshed on demand.
- Manual AI usage readings with optional local-companion support.
Recovery and portability
JSON backups, browser/Toby imports, local recovery snapshots with restore preview, collection Trash and duplicate/tracking-link review. Connection credentials and transient activity are excluded from portable files.
Included with care
First-install onboarding, the supplied Whiskr cat, local sprite animations and reduced-motion support. Core library workflows require no account or hosted service.
Current limits
- The Chrome Web Store listing is coming soon.
- Public repository activity works without OAuth. Private repositories and GitHub Enterprise are not supported.
- GitHub sign-in requires publisher registration/configuration and is disabled.
- Automatic AI usage needs a separately started local companion. Antigravity’s adapter needs a live compatibility check.
- Internet public pages require your own configured HTTPS sharing server. There is no preconfigured hosting or cloud sync.
